The Curiosity Game
Curiosity, in ninety seconds a day
An adaptation of The Curious Advantage content and challenges into a mobile-first, light-touch game — a way to build curiosity across a whole organization, a few minutes at a time.
How it plays
Simple, fast, and quietly competitive
The game consists of simple, fast, timed mini-games that engage the user in curious topics.
Questions get harder as players answer, and the game tracks their streak and shows it on a leaderboard — which turns out to be the thing that keeps a whole department coming back on day nine.
The question bank
Yours, or ours
Questions can be pre-configured, or designed and implemented through the admin area. The engine supports questions built from visuals, text, or a combination of both.
Multiple choice
The workhorse format — quick to write, quick to answer, easy to scale across a large question bank.
Visual puzzles
Problems that need looking at rather than reading, which shifts players out of autopilot.
Clickable images
Images with right and wrong answers marked directly on them — good for spotting, comparing and noticing.
Memory tests
Short recall challenges that reward attention, not speed-reading.
Word challenges
Language puzzles that stretch how precisely people can say what they mean.
Your own content
Load your strategy, your products or your values into the same mechanic and let people learn them sideways.
Where it fits
Three ways teams use it
After a keynote
Keeps the ideas alive for the two weeks when everyone is still talking about the talk.
Between modules
Light daily contact that holds a cohort together through a longer learning program.
As a campaign
A 30-day organization-wide challenge with a leaderboard, run as its own moment.
